My editor sent me the following good Corona virus jokes. Even in terrible times, we should keep up optimistic good humor.
To go to the store, they said a mask and gloves were enough…they lied…everyone else had clothes on.
20 years ago, we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no cash, no hope and no jobs.
Day 2 without sports. Found a lady sitting on my couch. Apparently, she’s my wife. She seems nice.
Gas is finally affordable and we can’t go anywhere.
That moment when you’re worried about the elderly and realize that YOU are the elderly.
We thought we’d have flying cars by 2020. But no, here we are teaching people how to wash their hands.
Our cleaning lady just called and told us she will be working from home and will send us instructions on what to do.
This virus must be wrecking India. I haven’t gotten one phone call in 3 days about my credit card.
Dr. Israel Drazin – As always, sincere thanks for putting everything into perspective. Am working on a proper diet, exercise and making the change from a being long time pessimist to an optimist.
Thanks for the compliment. Your plan is perfect.
Take it from me: My grandmother was an optimist and she made it to 96.
Thank you for the jokes. I would add that it is important to stay indoors. I know you have to attend therapy, so I hope you will be better soon so you can stay at home.
Although charedim makes up 10% of Israel’s population, they make 50% of cases. Partly because Rav Chaim Kanievksy and Gershon Edelstein said the “Torah Protects” and that “canceling yeshivah is more dangerous than coronavirus.” This is not true. The Torah does not protect. The Torah does bind Jews together for a millennium. Thankfully, the rabbis ruled Chareidi communities to close yeshivahs, shuls, and street minyan (following rules of social distancing) due to coronavirus. Rabbi Slifkin wrote much on this issue.
I agree with you Turk.

I agree and that is why I posted it. Three things are necessary: a proper diet, exercise and an optimistic attitude.
